Low Carb Affogato

Affogato sounds all pretentious but is fucking amazing and requires basically no effort to make. Ok, we know we sound like pricks calling what is basically a coffee vanilla float an Affogato. But hear us out. Go buy your favorite low carb vanilla ice cream and a bottle of cold brew and make this shit. It takes 2 minutes and is addictive af. Your girlfriend will be impressed that you speak Italian and your boys will be impressed that they now have an easy trick up their sleeves to impress their own girlfriends. You can make this a drunken Affogato by adding a splash of just about any alcohol you like (bourbon, rum, Kahlua, Amaretto, Bailey’s, etc.) but don’t be a fucking asshole – drink responsibly!

  • Scoop the ice cream into a glass and pour on the cold brew or espresso.
  • Top with the chocolate.
  • Serve that shit up and spike it with a little bourbon for the boys or Kahlua or Amaretto for the ladies

Notes

We used vanilla Enlightened ice cream to make this. 1 cup of their ice cream has 10g sugar alcohols. Net carbs = 15g total carbs - 5g fiber - 5g sugar alcohols = 5g net carbs per serving.
